The footage seen by TUKO.co.ke shows the deceased donning a black shirt and his friend, a 30-year-old donning a white shirt, approaching the gate 20 minutes past midnight. From the footage, Seth is seen knocking on the gate, but the security guard does not open it. They then attempt to unlock it before the guard opens it. The deceased Kevin walks in first and Seth follows. The two are said to have returned home from an entertainment joint.
It was the last time Kevin was seen alive. At 1am, CCTV footage shows the security guard making rounds to and from the suspect’s house. Detectives say the suspect, Seth, gave the security guard food items. According to the police report, Seth went to his workplace the following day and sought a day off to attend to an urgent matter
An autopsy conducted on the body of the deceased revealed that he was stabbed to death. The family doctor said there was only one stab wound. “The cause of death here was blood loss and also injury to the cardiac muscles,” the family doctor said.
