Bonfire Adventure boss Simon Kabu has shared how they started the company. He alleged that their first office was courtesy of his brother.
This he shared during an interview with Mungai Eve after she asked him to clarify if he was a co-founder or just a shareholder of the company.
“We landed a job with a certain bank. When it was time to pay we thought they would pay via our phones.
They however told us they couldn’t and that we had to have an official account, We opened one and that is how the company was created.”
Simon went on to claim;
“My brother gave us the first office we had. My sister is the one who registered Bonfire Adventures. Sarah is the mother of my kids.”
Asked if he indeed physically assaulted Sarah as alleged by the mother of two, he responded.
“I do not want to say anything about that, I do not want to be misquoted. There are a lot of things happening, the truth will come out.”
What was the future of Bonfire?
“I want to assure our customers that the company is there to stay. We are working as usual.”
Sarah’s Counter Claims
In a video shared on her Instagram handle on Friday, December 6, the businesswoman claimed that she founded the firm. Sarah did not clarify whether her estranged husband, Simon, had shares in the company.
“Long live @bonfireadventures I am the founder and now fully in charge. Christmas bookings ongoing,” she posted.
Sarah also announced to the public that she would no longer be using the name ‘Kabu’ and would be using Sarah Mtalii (Tourist)
Drama started after CCTV footage of a woman alleged to be Sarah assaulting her ‘nanny’ was leaked online. She responded stating her husband might have been behind the leak.
“I want to apologize for telling women to stay in marriages where there is infidelity. Wamama, tafadhali nawaomba mnisamehe. “If things aren’t working, it’s better to leave while you still can, she said in a video.
The couple is alleged to have filed for divorce. Sarah confirmed she had left her matrimonial home adding she is currently living alone.
