Pastor Kanyari Responds to Bungoma Goliath’s Allegations, Claims He’s Trying to Tarnish His Name

Pastor Victor Kanyari has finally spoken out following allegations from Isaac Otesa, popularly known as Bungoma Goliath. Pastor Kanyari responds to claims he paid Bungma Goliath to faint at his church.:  What did Kanyari say to Bungoma Goliath?

In a video viewed by TUKO.co.ke, Pastor Kanyari addressed the issue alongside TikTok creator Kawira, who had introduced the two. Kanyari strongly denied the allegations, suggesting that they were part of a deliberate plot to damage his reputation. The man of God alleged that Nairobi County Chief Environment Officer, Geoffrey Mosiria and Otesa conspired against him.

Kanyari claimed that Otesa was following a script to restore his image. “Alimwambia, ili urudishe jina yako Goliath, na uonekane uko powerful, haribia Kanyari jina, sema ni kuangushwa uliangishwa na ulikuwa kazi alafu utavuma, ukivuma pengine utapata kazi. I think hio ndio mchoro walichora,” Kanyari said, insinuating that Otesa was coerced into making the allegations to gain attention.

Otesa had initially claimed he was paid KSh 8,000 by Pastor Kanyari to fall during a dramatic prayer session. Speaking to Nairobi Chief Environment Officer, Geoffrey Mosiria, he claimed that he was introduced to the preacher by TikToker Kawira, who promised him money in exchange for participating in the dramatic service.

Previously, when TUKO.co.ke contacted Kawira, she confirmed taking Otesa to the church but denied the accusations. She argued that the money Otesa received was not for performing during the service but to help him with basic living expenses. The TikToker also called out Otesa for tarnishing Kanyari’s name despite the preacher’s support. TUKO.co.ke also reached out to Geoffrey Mosiria for more clarity on the issue, as Kawira questioned why he failed to directly contact Pastor Kanyari for confirmation.

Mosiria has yet to respond as of this publication. Watch the video below. The issue has raised debate among social media users. Reactions include: djshiti_comedian: “Goliath Arudi ocha.” we.ezy.___: “Mtafutateni mtuambie Nani anatudanganya. Kuna muongo kati yenu.” myrapharma5: “Not new they stage acts all the times.” vancekims: “Mosiria you’ve been doing good work, stick to your profession and stop chasing clout. Pastors do wrong things but this isn’t in your line of duty.” m.aite.j: “At this rate, we cannot believe anything out here.”
