Elodie Zone Slams Blogs for Revisiting Painful Past

Digital content creator, fitness enthusiast and entrepreneur Elodie Zone is back on social media after a short hiatus and she’s already beefing with a select group of netizens.

The 28-year-old took to her Instagram stories to address stories that have been swirling around in regard to the traumatic experiences she went through during the beginning of this year.

Elodie argued it was time to let things go as she had already sort out her life, financially, emotionally and also when it came to family.

The entrepreneur noted all those still carrying such stories were merely trying to fish for relevance using her name.

“Wanna make it clear that life is good, and things are at peace as we close the year. The January struggles have been sorted and cleared with my fam, friends, and work opportunities.

You can stop creating spam accounts to use news from 11 months ago to stay relevant,” the social media personality wrote in part.

She went on to add that she didn’t understand why her name was being dragged as she was no longer big on the limelight as she used to be before.

Highlighting she was more concerned with chasing the bag during this juncture of her life as opposed to seeking relevance or fame online.

“I don’t even do this influencer stuff anymore. Been at it for over a decade now. I just enjoy sharing workout stuff once in a while,” Elodie wrote exasperatedly.

Following her text with, “Money over fame – you can’t have both I’ll tell you that as someone that entered the industry young. You can only fake one.”

On the next slide the 28-year-old shared a video of herself enjoying a running session throwing a jab at her critics by penning, “Now put down your phones and go run a 21km or get a visa,”

Finishing up, she shared a video of herself in the gym deep in workout shading her critics.

“Unpopular opinion: Only unfit, ugly or broke people spend time on rumours. The rest are too focused on improving and healing themselves,” the last of her post read.

Backstory

Earlier this year, the content creator revealed she had started off 2024 on such a terrible note.  “I’m starting 2024 off with a pretty unique situation. and so let’s vlog it,” she began as she recounted all the challenges she has been through.

“My boyfriend broke up with me because I didn’t want to sleep with him… the apartment building that I’m living in is throwing me out, because I have a dog, and there is now a no pets rule.” Elodie sadly shared as she held back tears.

To top it all off she noted her mental health was also struggling because of a strain between her and her family and friends

“My family members stopped talking to me last year because I didn’t go on a family trip and the reason, I didn’t go on a family trip was because of previous verbal and mental-emotional abuse. Now I have been completely isolated. Mind you I am an only child,” she pointed out. Adding, “And I no longer have a friend group because my old one was full of people who drunk too much alcohol. And I wasn’t for it, so I have no friends.

“Did I forget to mention that I lost my job? So, I also don’t have a stream of income”
