This follows the inauguration another branch in Eldama Ravine in November. The Ravine Branch becomes the banks 32nd branch in Rift Valley.
The bank’s commitment to bringing financial services closer to its customers is evident in its ongoing expansion plans. This year alone, Co-op Bank has already opened branches in Ruiru Nord Mall, Dagoretti Market, Mai Mahiu, Marimanti, Naromoru, and Eldoret Airport Road.
In March 2024, the bank announced its intention to open 15 new branches throughout the year, adding to the 8 opened in 2022 and 5 in 2021. As of September 2023, Co-op Bank boasts a network of 193 branches nationwide.
This expansion strategy aims to improve access to financial services for a wider range of Kenyans, particularly those in underserved areas. With each new branch, Co-op Bank solidifies its position as a leading financial institution in Kenya.
