Karen Nyamu (r) and John Methu (l) engage in a hilarious online debate

Nyandarua senator John Methu and his nominated colleague, Karen Nyamu, are engaged in an online tiff, which cracked their fans up. . It all started after Methu shared a post on Facebook stating that the acting Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital (KUTRH) Isaac Kamau had been removed and replaced by Zainab Gura.

Why did Methu and Nyamu clash? The politician also satirically stated that the change was a sign of eradicating tribalism.  “Isaac Kamau, the acting CEO of Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital (KUTRH), has been removed and replaced by Zainab Gura, who is also acting. The board that had appointed Kamau has been disbanded. Tunamaliza siasa ya ukabila na ujinga,” he wrote.

Nyamu took to the comment section of the post, reminding Methu that he should not frown upon Kamau’s replacement since it was a temporary role. “Ask him what acting CEO means. I’m sure he knew that was a temporary capacity,” she wrote.

However, Methu ripped into the nominated senator, telling her to reserve her comment until it was time for twerking. Nyamu is a good dancer and this could explain the banter. “I will call you when people start twerking,” Methu replied.
