In a recent study by the Kenya Bureau of Statistics, more Kenyan women earn Sh100,000 than men.

The number of Kenyan workers earning over Sh100,000 monthly has risen by 15,252, with women accounting for 14,268.

Speaking during the Morning Conversation, Maina Kageni shared his opinion on why the tables have turned.

“You(men) are irresponsible, You want to spend on women paying rent in areas you cannot afford. You want to buy alcohol for everybody. You can’t ride on saying women were more empowered than men, that is like 40 years ago.”

Mwalimu King’ang’i was of the opinion that women are no longer supportive of their men hence the disparity. “We were left when they stopped supporting us. What happened to growing together?” he questioned.

Below are some reaction from Kenyans

Ali Mo Ibrahim: That’s why most government-employed women are either single or divorced. They sell their bodies in exchange for a favour

Salah Davisa: We know the secret behind this don’t tell us…. Kenya is a free corruption country you know!

Owuor Cliff Oselu: Let them now come for our hands in marriage.

Jayden Jerry: Nowadays women don’t use brains, they only need nyash.

Titus Munyasi: Ndiyo maana wanaume wanalea watoto si wao.

A broke man

Mumo Wyclef: Corporate ladies are trading punany for jobs and promotions. boy child has nothing to offer. ni yeye na mungu wake.

Omega Mbaabu: It all starts from hiring… no one hires Men anymore, who wants a boring office? These corporate pics make me sick!!

Arnold Osena: The power of tap tap….and some quality camera and ring lights.

Jack Mbugua: Acha Mungu aitwe Mungu ju Even with that earning they still go borrow to men who earn lower than them,, that is why God created man first and he became his manager.

Petro Mwangi: Only fans na taptap zimekuja kuinua the other gender…makofi.

Caleb Andes: Ni God mazee..God.

Japhis Kunono: And still advocating as vulnerable and weak and needing support, men will wake up when women take over everything.

Pierre Ganson: it is wrong to say that they slept their way to the top but even if they did it’s still a smart move….most girls are sleeping with old men just for food and drinks

.Yasri Arafat: We are interested with the net pay.

Frankline Karani: Utaskia watu wanasema ni pochi imefikisha ladies pale
