Kabi says the lack of seriousness in such unions might be the cause of many breakups being witnessed.
In an interview with Mungai Eve, he shared;
‘ I used to ask your ex (Trevor) what he wanted with you, I used to advise him to take action and marry you that way things would be streamlined. If you remember I also used to ask you the same thing. I wanted to know what you guys wanted.”

“It’s very easy to part ways with someone you have no covenant. How many times do you think Love (Milly) and I bore each other? A lot. There is a lot that binds us together. We cannot just wake up and say am done. And even if we did it would take time before it becomes over.”

Kabi defended himself saying;
“I am not condemning people who live together cohabiting, but it is not a good thing. If young people can be taught how to do things right, then in the future marriages will be very good.”
Mungai Eve added;
‘As a former cohabitor, I totally agree with you. Makosa ilifanyika and it will never happen again.”
In the past Mungai Eve admitted she moved in with her ex Trevor Director due to desperation.
“There is something that I have come to realise right now, and maybe people will take it the wrong way. So many people, especially young people, end up in marriages or relationships because of situations. I ended up in a come-we-stay marriage because I didn’t want to stay in my parents’ home, and I didn’t have anywhere to go. I only met this person towards the end of 2019 and we didn’t know each other,” she said.

WaJesus’ Long Social Media Absences Explained
In September 2024, Kabi explained why they sometimes go silent on social media.
“I feel like sometimes I’m forcing her into it, and she wants to maybe just be here coz of support, but sasa it is frustrating.
“So sometimes when you see us silent, it might be Milly has refused to record, or she has refused to shoot, or maybe we are going through a hard time in our marriage, and we are not on talking terms coz we can’t hide. You guys know us so well.”
He then finished by adding,
“So even when we are going through a hard time in our marriage, we try to record something it’s so visible, and sometimes you want to deal with the issue before you bring it online, so that’s why sometimes we keep silent,” he explained.

Milly emerged in the video to confront him about his claim saying, “What is that you are telling people surely? Just because I’m late to the video you are talking like someone bereaved.”
Kabi then informed her that he was being vulnerable with their online fans, which Milly dismissed.
“But love I have told you I am not interested in this thing (videos) I accepted to be a part of this but I didn’t think it would be like this all the time. It is too much, sometimes I get overwhelmed,” Milly explained.
She spoke of numerous questions from fans about the state of her marriage.
“If we didn’t take that time away from social media, I don’t think we would have been able to achieve what we have achieved. Being on this platform for the last 7 years has taught us a lot when it comes to sharing,” she said maturely.
