And multi-faceted digital content creator and media personality Anita Nderu Raftery sure does an impressive list.
Sharing on her social media platform, the mother of one posted a photo of herself dressed in all black paired with gold accessories smiling broadly while at what appeared to be a concert.
Captioning the post she penned a lengthy message outlining all the people and things she was thankful for as well as how her year has been.
“I hope you and your loved ones are doing well,” started off the former TV show host.
She went on to write, “This Thanksgiving I am particularly grateful for the friends/family in my life. As we navigate life, so many people cross our paths. For some reason you and a total stranger will decide to be in each others lives and from there you forge a relationship that spans years and life’s circumstances.
This person whom you did not know existed before the day you met them, begins to become a staple part of your life. When you think about it now, you are unsure how you ever had a life that didn’t involve them
It is a privilege to be able to pick the phone and call people you have known forever or just the other day and just have the best time hearing how they are doing * It’s a privilege to have an album of mental and physical memories of your evolution as friends. This is a privilege I am deeply grateful for.”
Addressing her friends she expressed how positively she has evolved as a person due to hanging out with them. Anita professed her unwavering love for her inner circle detailing, “This year I am grateful for my friends, I have evolved into a MUCH better human being thanks to each of you, love being a part of your lives and love having you in mine.
I am so glad our paths crossed and I get to make memories with you, laugh with you, cry with you, give each other delulu advice, travel with you, make plans with you, see your plans work out, celebrate with you and best of all, have you over at our home
It’s always an honour hosting you, if I was around, you know we’d be having a Friendsgiving right now
