Content creator Mungai Eve and Director Trevor

Content creator Mungai Eve has opened up about the reasons she moved in with her ex, Director Trevor. Mungai Eve shared reasons she moved in with Trevor while shutting down claims she was in love.  The couple parted ways in 2023 but made it publicly known when Trevor announced the split in 2024 while taking over their YouTube channel. Why Mungai Eve was forced to date Trevor  In an interview with a YouTuber commentator, Eve said that she was not in love with Trevor but only lived with him because he was in love with him.  “There is something that I have come to realise right now, and maybe people will take it the wrong way.

So many people, especially young people, end up in marriages or relationships because of situations. I ended up in a come-we-stay marriage because I didn’t want to stay in my parents’ home, and I didn’t have anywhere to go. I only met this person towards the end of 2019 and we didn’t know each other,” she said. Watch the video below: Why young girls move in with men Relationship coach Mary Nzisa told TUKO.co.ke that most young girls, especially those in college, find themselves in similar situations. “Many of them are in the stage they are finding themselves and are also getting men who can offer more than they left back home. Without self-awareness, they find themselves in toxic situations or marriages that affect them and, in worst cases, mental health,” she said.

Here are some of the comments from social media users: @_michaelyoung._ said: “Eve should know some things u just know but never say. She’s naively portraying herself as a user.” @fuikngthe said: “She was so okay when silent until now, jeez this is so low of her.” @natalie_joby said: “Facts. So many people are in unhappy marriages and relationships cause of circumstances,I almost found myself there.” @divinar_online_swahili_tutor said: “She’s saying the truth.” @hassan_h.adji said: “We move on bwana, utashinda ukijiexplain vile haukuwa unapenda mtu.” @the._arrow said: “Wanaume tafuteni pesa, wachaneni na madem.” @kennats254hq said: “You won’t understand the point she’s trying to deliver unless u ave been in that situation.”

Eve subtly disses ex Eve recently revealed that she got into a new relationship even before she ended things with her ex, Trevor. She also dissed him, claiming she would have paid her own dowry had she still been dating him. Some netizens cautioned her to stop dissing Trevor because he was part of her current success, while others were surprised by her confession.
