Rose Wanjiku, popularly known as Ikoh Roz, has been rumoured to be dating singer Willy Paul, with the two frequently joking about their relationship.
In an interview with YouTuber Prince Newton, Ikoh shared insights into her life and career.
Ikoh grew up and received her education in Murang’a, where she completed her primary and secondary studies before moving to Nairobi for her university education.
At 22 years old, she jokingly remarked, “I’m still a child, hehe,” reflecting on her youth.
Professionally, Ikoh is a dancer, a passion she has nurtured since childhood. “Dancing is something I started when I was very young, around two years old,” she recalled.
It was also at this tender age that she began earning money. “I started earning money when I was two years old,” she explained, elaborating that she would receive payments for entertaining politicians or MPs at events.
“I had the courage to get in front of people and dance, and that’s how I earned some cash,” she added. This marks 18 years in the dancing and influencing industry for Ikoh.
Her journey as a digital content creator began after high school in 2021. As a model and dancer, she reflects positively on her progress, saying, “I’m doing well because as you grow, you expand your opportunities, land gigs, and get better pay. So far, so good.”
However, Ikoh has faced her share of challenges, including cyberbullying. “At first, it was hectic, but I’ve decided in this life, just stay a fool. I don’t have time to explain,” she said.
Regarding her relationship status, Ikoh stated, “I’m single. Very much single. Marry me; I’m getting old.” She shared her views on cheating, saying, “If you’re cheating, it’s better to come out and tell me, so I can decide. If we vibe with that other woman, it’s okay. I’ve been in a situation like that before. If we get along, I don’t see an issue. Even a threesome is fine as long as we vibe.”
Despite this, she prefers single life, describing it as “sweet.”
On the topic of dating Willy Paul, Ikoh was somewhat evasive, saying, “That’s complicated. You never know, but so far, so good. We’re okay with each other, I guess. We vibe, I can’t explain it, but we just vibe. He’s single, I’m single, and we vibe. I’m not like that with everyone; there are things Paul does for me that no one else does.”
