Marie Achieng’s friend recalls their first meeting She also recalled how she welcomed her to school on day one when she joined their primary school, which sparked their friendship. “She was my primary and childhood friend. We grew together. I take this moment to pay tribute to someone who is not just a friend but a walking and talking bundle of joy and occasional chaos. From the first day we met in primary school, you gave me a warm welcome, as I barely knew anyone around. I still remember our first meal at the dining hall,” she said.
Debra added that Marie’s sense of humour sparked their friendship, which lasted for years, even when they reconnected in the same high school. How Nyaboke Moraa, ex, shaped daughter’s life She also thanked Marie’s parents for doing an incredible job in taking care of the 19-year-old and being loving parents to her. Debra recalled how they would visit the actress, and she would cook for them sumptuous meals. “Many are the days that we would visit your mum, Moraa, and she would prepare such lovely meals that we used to enjoy as we shared jokes and laughter together. This made me realise how wonderful Marie’s family was. Thank you to both of Marie’s parents for your love and guidance that shaped Marie into the incredible person we all cherished,” she added.
