DJ Gibbzy wins big during East Africa Entertainment awards

 

Tanzanian DJ, Producer and rapper DJ Gibbzy has won the “Breakthrough Artiste of the year- Tanzania”.

He won this during the just concluded East Africa Entertainment awards.

He was nominated alongside some heavyweights in the same category among them; Abigail Chams, DVoice, Mocco Genius & Bruce Africa.

The awards show was held in Nairobi on Sunday night and was attended by Industry and government officials and heavy weights, among them Dr Ezekiel Mutua the CEO of MCSK.

Speaking to the press Gibbzy said;

“This is an amazing milestone for my career, first ever award. I want to thank my fans for voting and to always holding me down by streaming my music. I will never let you down. "
