Anne Waiguru Shows Off Her Lovely Living Room as She Celebrates Birthday: "Thanking God"

 

Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru has celebrated turning a year older in style. Anne Waiguru celebrated her birthday with fellow governors before heading home.  Inside Anne Waiguru's home The politician's birthday on Tuesday, April 16, coincided with a meeting by the council of governors. Images shared by Waiguru showed her compatriots surprising her with a birthday cake and flowers.  Numerous governors handed her bouquets, including Kisumu governor Anyang Nyong'o. She eventually cut a cake they bought for her as her colleagues watched on, smiling. “Lovely birthday surprise after a very tough COG meeting. Thank you. I am really honoured to serve alongside you all. God bless you abundantly,” she captioned the images. Waiguru then retired to her luxurious home to spend the rest of her day. She posted images of lounging on a grey chair with blue pillows. Before she was, a cup of tea and arrow roots set atop a classy wooden table with patterned legs. Behind Waiguru was a fireplace with numerous family photos, including of her husband, Kamotho Waiganjo. Waiguru's living room has exposed rafters painted white against a white V-shaped ceiling. The governor praised God for blessing her with the gift of life, writing: “And He makes everything beautiful in his time... Ecclesiastes 3:11. Thanking God for another year.” Kenyans reacted to the post by saying: @EdNyambok: “Happy birthday. Please remember to buy a new pair of slippers. Those look worn out.” @CretumKenya: “Nice room. We won't mind having a house tour.” @KingiMochache: “This is nice and chilled.” @lawrencekitema: “Happiest birthday. To many years of blessings and prosperity.
