A court in Kiambu has jailed a sixteen-year-old minor for the murder of her one-year, 8-month-old cousin in August last year.
According to the ruling, the minor will serve “the first two years will be se at a borstal institution and the remaining 8 years at Langata Women Prison at which the minor will have attained the age of majority.”
In agreeing with the prosecution, the Judge noted that a custodial sentence was deserving of the subject who killed her innocent cousin.
She had suffocated her cousin to death and then threw herinto a borehole.
According to investigations, the minor prior to the killing of her cousin, had also killed her three siblings, whose deaths are pending the completion of a probe.
