Vioja Mahakamani prosecutor Gibson Gathu to be laid to rest on Tuesday

 

The late Vioja Mahakami prosecutor Gibson Gathu will be buried tomorrow at Matundura village Engineer North Kinangop.

An update seen by Mpasho.co.ke shared online said all burial plans are concluded.

On Sunday, a requiem Mass for Gibson Gathu Mbugua took place at ACK Saint Catherine Mihango.

"Dear Members. We thank God for a job well done so far and thank you so much for your contributions both in kind and in cash. May you all remain blessed.

The requiem Mass for our dear brother Gibson Gathu Mbugua took place today at ACK Saint Catherine Mihango as planned. Thank you to all who attended. It was a great encouragement for the committee as well as the family. Again remain blessed."

The update added that most major undertakings have already been taken care of and the burial as stated shall still take place on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.

The cottage shall leave Lee Funeral home at 6:30 am on that day.

Transport to and for is Ksh 900- 1,000 depending on the point of pick up.

The late Gibson died in Eldoret and his death was announced on December 22.

"Good morning friends and family... This morning I have received a phone call from Mediheal Hospital informing me that our brother Gibson has rested. It's been a journey but in all God is still on the throne," his family said in a sad announcement.

The actor underwent a kidney transplant at a hospital in Eldoret in August this year.

The late was admitted to hospital in July after well-wishers, led by former President Uhuru Kenyatta, came through for him in a fundraiser. Sh6 million was raised for his medical treatment.

After a successful surgery, he expressed his gratitude to all well-wishers who supported him with the hospital bill.    BY MPASHO NEWS
