Koome said the DCI is a core component of the National Council on the Administration of Justice (NCAJ) and a pivotal partner in the criminal justice system.

She acknowledged the enormous responsibilities that come with the office of the DCI and pledged her support whenever called upon.

Koome said courts rely on investigations conducted by the Directorate.

She urged him to work closely with other players in the NCAJ that brings together state and non-state actors from the justice sector in fulfilling his mandate.    BY THE STAR
