NPS takes part in launch of police poster for deaf in Machakos

 

The National Police Service (NPS) on Thursday participated in the launch of knowledge products for the deaf at Machakos Youth Centre.

The Service was joined by the Deaf Empowerment Kenya (DEK) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

The launch is part of other activities undertaken by the DEK in marking 2022's Deaf Awareness Week.

The year's theme is "Building inclusive communities for all".

The information products have been developed with input from the NPS, the Judiciary, and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
