Uhuru, Raila dance at Waiguru-Waiganjo wedding

President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga were on Saturday dancing to local tunes at a traditional wedding ceremony for Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru and lawyer Kamotho Waiganjo.
The President who wore a white shirt untucked from his black trouser swayed back and forth presumably comfortable with the rhythm.
On the other hand, Raila, who was dressed in a Kaunda suit, stuck to his renowned somewhat stiff dancing style.
The two leaders who have been spending considerably more time together on Saturday joined musicians and other invited guests on stage.

Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Homa Bay Woman Rep Gladys Wanga and former Meru Woman Rep Florence Kajuju also took to the podium.
Waiguru and Waiganjo organised an elaborate traditional wedding (ngurario) ceremony for their guests who turned up in colourful African attire.
Guests began to stream in to Kamugumo Primary School in Ngariama Ward, Gichugu Constituency at around 10:30am.

Seating was meticulously arranged inside a canopy tent that was decorated with silk sashes at the top suited to the yellow and brown theme.
Tables were adorned with linen in different shades of brown; traditional pots covered with a calabash as the centrepieces and a wooden spoon.
A visibly excited groom, Kamotho Waiganjo made a grand entrance surrounded by dancers dressed in traditional Kikuyu attire.
Dressed in orange, Waiganjo walked in with poise and his thumbs up, smiling gleefully as he made his way to the tent.
Security agents on patrol conducted checks at the entrance to vet residents entering the venue.
Waiguru arrived at the venue a few minutes before 4pm.
Other notable guests at the ngurario include Sports CS Amina Mohamed, Transport CS James Macharia, Interior PS Karanja Kibicho and Senate Minority Leader James Orengo (Siaya Senator).
Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina, Youth and Gender Affair CAS Rachel Shebesh, Nairobi County Assembly Speaker Beatrice Elachi and Gender Commission member Priscilla Nyokabi were also at the ceremony.
Conspicuously absent was Deputy President William Ruto who was on tour in Tharaka Nithi County.
