Kisii man murdered, body dumped in tea plantation

The body of an elderly man was on Saturday morning found dumped in a tea plantation in Nyankoba on the border of Kisii and Nyamira counties.
The body of the man, identified as Samuel Ogembo Obuchi from Maburi village, Kisii county, had severe injuries on the head, neck and legs.
Birongo sub-chief Kefa Omai said, “I was called and informed that a man from my area had been found killed at Nyankoba, bordering Kisii and Nyamira.
I called the police, we went and confirmed it was true.” 
He called for calm as the police investigate.
The body was moved to Gucha mortuary.
