Children with special needs at the Mali Therapy Centre in Karen, Nairobi County, marked an early Christmas celebration filled with joy and colour as two organisations came together to donate gifts and light the Christmas tree.
Ahadi Kenya Trust CEO Stanley Kamau, Mali Therapy Centre founder Pauline Elizabeth, and Laticrete’s Winnie Kamande joined the children and staff for the festive event, where assorted gift items were distributed.
During the celebration, Kamau urged fathers raising children with special needs to fully embrace their role rather than withdrawing from family responsibilities.
He noted that many families struggle when fathers shy away, stressing that parental support is crucial for the children’s growth and well-being.
The event brought smiles to the children, highlighting the importance of inclusion and family support during the festive season.
