James Okello, a young man from Gulu, Uganda, grew up in a family that struggled to make ends meet. From a young age, he learned the harsh realities of life—his parents worked hard, yet there was never enough to cover school fees, food, and basic necessities. As he grew older, James dreamed of having his own business and creating financial stability, but opportunities seemed out of reach.
After finishing school, he tried different jobs—some paid very little, while others were unstable. No matter how hard he worked, money always seemed to disappear. He felt trapped in a cycle of poverty, constantly borrowing, and struggling to survive. Over time, James grew frustrated and began to lose hope that he would ever achieve his dreams.
