Major Global Events Celebrated in November

November is a month marked by global awareness and advocacy for human rights, science, health, and peace.It begins with the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes Against Journalists on the 2nd and World Tsunami Awareness Day on the 5th.

The month also highlights environmental responsibility during the International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict on the 6th, and celebrates science with World Science Day for Peace and Development on the 10th, within the International Week of Science and Peace from the 9th to the 15th.

Health, safety, and justice are emphasised through World Diabetes Day on the 14th, Road Traffic Victims Remembrance Day on the 17th, Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week from the 18th to the 24th, and the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on the 25th, among other observances that foster global solidarity and awareness.
