A well-known social media figure, affectionately dubbed “Dem wa FB” by her followers, recently made an emotional journey to Bondo.
The visit was a private pilgrimage to pay tribute to the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who passed away in October 2025.
The content creator travelled to Kang’o Ka Jaramogi in Siaya County. This is the ancestral home and final resting place of the Odinga family. She laid a beautiful floral wreath on the grave.

A Sombre Moment in Bondo
Dem wa FB was pictured standing alone and reflective at the graveside. She wore a solemn black, long-sleeved dress.
The dress featured subtle white embroidery near the neck, complementing the sober nature of the occasion. Her hair was styled in long, neat braids.
The grave itself was covered in an impressive array of fresh flowers, predominantly red and white roses. A small wooden cross marked the head of the burial site.
In a particularly moving image, she held a large, carefully arranged wreath before gently placing it on the mound of flowers.
Her post on social media reflected the deep respect she holds for the departed leader.
“I finally got the chance to pay my last Respects to BABA. Go well Jakom. Go well BABA. we miss you.”
