Diana speaks out on why she won’t be part of Bahati’s new music journey

Kenyan influencer and businesswoman Diana Marua has spoken out following heated conversations surrounding her husband Bahati’s new music style, making it clear that her focus is on a completely different path.

In an official statement shared online, Diana said while she respects Bahati’s journey as an artist, she will not be part of his new direction. She emphasized that her commitment lies in protecting her brand, upholding the values she stands for, and nurturing the business partnerships she has built over the years.

“I am fully committed to my businesses, my partnerships, and the brands that trust me,” Diana stated. “That means carrying myself in a way that reflects responsibility, growth, and the values I stand for.”

Diana further clarified that her decision was out of respect for her family, partners, and fans who look up to her. She stressed that although she supports Bahati as a husband, she cannot align with the path he has recently taken in his music career.

The statement has sparked reactions online, with many praising Diana for standing firm on her principles. Others question what this means for the couple’s joint brand identity, which has previously thrived on music collaborations and family-centered content.

Still, Diana’s message remained gracious. She thanked her supporters and partners for walking the journey with her, adding that she believes in supporting one another but also in safeguarding her personal growth and reputation.

As Bahati continues to make bold moves in the music scene, Diana’s announcement signals a strategic separation between their professional choices: one that is likely to fuel even more conversation among fans and industry insiders alike.
