A woman in Chuka is anxious as her son in Form Four has been sent home over lack of school fees. Woman crying out for illustration. Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Elosy Samuel said that her son, Jefferson, who goes to Njuri High School, is in danger of missing his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) if she does not get the fees. “I have been using loans to pay fees, and now I don’t know what to do, as I have to pay the existing ones,” she said. Elosy works by walking around her neighbourhood to get scrap metals, and then she sells them. With meager wages, it has been hard to make ends meet. “What if he fails to sit for his KCSE exams? I have not even managed to get KSh 100 for the fees so far and I am very scared,” said Elosy. You can help Elosy on: 0704720114.
