Kenyan music sensation Otile Brown has issued a clear message to his fans, urging them to remain focused on his music amidst a public dispute with Sauti Sol’s Bien Baraza.
The spat has centred on claims regarding songwriting authenticity within the industry.
Otile Brown’s Message to His Supporters
Amidst this back-and-forth, Otile Brown has now taken to social media to reassure his fanbase. He posted a direct message urging loyalty and discernment.

“To my real fans… lock in & don’t let them trick you into thinking we’re not lit,” Otile Brown stated.
He further alluded to individuals whose “job” is to create doubt, adding, “Kuna watu kazi yao ni kukuaminisha vitu Wanadai tumeshuka ila walio juu wameshinda wakitutusi kwanini” (there are people whose job is to make you believe things, claiming we’ve fallen, but those at the top have failed to insult us, why?).
The singer emphasised his commitment to his craft, affirming that, “Music is feeling and for a long time I felt like doing something different, but that doesn’t mean we’ve failed to release the music you love from home.”
Focusing on Work
In a separate, concise post, Otile Brown reinforced his resolve to let his artistry be the ultimate response.
“From now onwards, I will let my work speak,” he declared, accompanied by a hand heart emoji.

He also referenced a recent track, saying, “The other day I dropped umenipendea nini’ & dear x one of the best music out there just to show you that. I haven’t lost that touch…but now let’s get back to business .. mnataka Swahili music, I will give you good music”.
The Origin of the Dispute
The Monday, July 28, 2025, online altercation started after Bien reacted to Mumbi Maina’s post following her sudden resignation as Otile’s manager.
The Wahala hitmaker shared a post on his Instagram account with his viral hit ‘All My Enemies Are Suffering’.
The song blends upbeat rhythms with hard-hitting lyrics, touching on themes of resilience, triumph, and perhaps a bit of sweet revenge.
His post came just moments after Mumbi shared her exit from Otile Brown’s managerial position, further stating her reasons while wishing Brown continued success.

In his response, Otile dismissed Bien as a loudmouth and a fake, implying that his artistry lacks substance and longevity.
He accused Bien of constantly seeking online attention by commenting on every trending issue and warned that his success could disappear with a single misstep.
