CFAO Health takes full ownership of Good life Pharmacy

The acquisition comes at a time when Kenya is experiencing rising demand for decentralized healthcare services, driven by a growing middle class and tech-enabled care models.

CFAO Healthcare acquired a 30pc stake in Goodlife Pharmacy in 2022.

And today, the firm has made a full acquisition in a deal that is expected to see CFAO Healthcare integrating Goodlife’s retail network into its wider pharmaceutical value chain from manufacturing to distribution and direct patient access.

The acquisition which has already received all necessary regulatory approvals they say will take effect immediately with a smooth transition underway to ensure uninterrupted services across Kenya and Uganda.

The transaction also means the exit of LeapFrog Investment that was among shareholders in Goodlife Pharmacy.
