The artist, also known as CEO African Boy, described his trip to Kenya as a mix of business and personal milestones, highlighting his deep appreciation for the country and its leadership.
Speaking to SPM Buzz after the party, Jux who was accompanied by his wife Priscilla Ojo, revealed that his visit to Nairobi was primarily for a performance at the engagement party of a prominent businessman named DL’s daughter.

The high-profile event saw the attendance of Kenya’s head of state, President William Ruto himself. Recounting the moment, Jux explained that after concluding his performance, he approached President Ruto out of respect to greet him.
The interaction, though brief, left a significant impression on Jux. He revealed that President Ruto commended his work and music, expressing his enjoyment of the performance.
“He congratulated me on the work I’m doing. He told me that he loves my music and the performance was very nice.”
What particularly struck Jux was Ruto’s awareness that Jux’s wife, Priscilla Ojo, was also present and his expressed desire for an introduction, indicating the President’s interest in Jux’s life and activities. Jux found this recognition particularly meaningful, acknowledging the President’s demanding schedule.
“He said that he knew I was coming with my wife because she was there but she was behind, he wanted me to introduce her as well,” Jux revealed.

For Jux, who has had the privilege of interacting with other East African leaders, such as former Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete and current President Samia Suluhu, these connections are invaluable. He views such interactions as a significant opportunity, especially as a businessman, believing they can offer proper guidance and enhance the credibility of his ventures.
He expressed immense gratitude for these opportunities, stating, “I don’t take it for granted. That is a very big thing.”
Beyond official engagements, Jux shared his genuine fondness for Kenya, emphasizing, “I always feel home, always feel safe when I’m in Nairobi, Kenya”.
He also mentioned his wife’s excitement about potentially visiting Nairobi National Park, a location Jux himself only recently learned about during this trip. Despite being in Kenya for work, he expressed a desire to explore more of the country’s attractions if time allows.

The couple had flown into Nairobi specifically for the event, which celebrated the upcoming union between Brian Belio, son of Immigration Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang, and Nicole Langat, daughter of billionaire businessman Dr. David Langat.
