Several injured as bus rolls into ditch near Globe roundabout

Several passengers have escaped death after a bus they were traveling in veered off the road and rolled into a ditch in Nairobi.

The bus was traveling from University Way towards the Globe Cinema roundabout when the accident occured.

Eyewitnesses, according to St John’s Ambulance, reported that the driver of the bus seemed to lose control, resulting in the vehicle careening into the ditch.

The casualties have since been evacuated to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) for medical attention.

The exact number of injuries and their severity was yet to be confirmed, as response teams are working to assess and address the situation.

Police are also probing the matter to establish its cause.
