Del Monte Kenya, which has employed over 7,700 workers, has implemented several initiatives aimed at improving employee welfare.

Key among them is the launch of a women’s health and empowerment program, alongside the establishment of lactation stations and a one-year lactation period for working mothers.

The company also supports children’s education and has set up six clinics across its plantation to enhance access to healthcare.

To further support mental wellness, Del Monte has provided professional counselling services.

In terms of safety, the firm ensures workers are equipped with personal protective equipment.

Additionally, Del Monte celebrates retirees and rewards long-serving employees, highlighting a culture of appreciation and recognition.
