Wife opens up after child’s death The pastor said for as long as he knew her, he did not know the mother of his two children was HIV positive. Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, the man of God claimed he found out the truth after their secondborn passed away. “Following the postmortem, it was discovered the child was infected. That was the time my wife opened up to me in the hospital. I was so upset I just wanted to ruin her life, to get revenge for the lies,” he said. Nairobi man claims wife was sick for six years Wambua from Nairobi county said he never knew his wife was on treatment as he had never seen her take the medicines or even bump into them in the house. According to the heartbroken man, his wife was on treatment for at least six years but withheld the information from him. “She never mentioned it from the first day, but her family knew. They even faked the results in the hospital so that our wedding plans could continue. She said she thought or believed she would be healed by marrying me and having a family with me,” Wambua said. It was very tough, Wambua Wambua said that despite staying under one roof, their marriage never remained the same after discovering the heartbreaking news. They had disagreements regularly but chose to stay together because their firstborn needed them. “It was a very tough moment for me after being kept in the dark for so long. I could not even imagine someone you love and who loves you would do something like that,” he cried.
