Justin Bieber Explains Instagram Unfollowing His Wife

Grammy award winning Canadian singer Justin Bieber has assured netizens that everything is dandy as a rose following speculations that took off after online sleuths noticed that he’d unfollowed his wife, runway model Hailey Baldwin on Instagram.
The couple has been off the limelight, keeping as low a profile as they possibly could since the birth of their first-born child named Jack Blues Bieber, last year in August.
To no surprise, during this time rumours of their impending divorce started doing rounds online. Netizens were already convinced things weren’t all rosy in the Bieber camp due to their demeanor in the few public appearances they made. Fast forward to this week and the wildfire was fueled after fans of the two noticed that Justin had unfollowed the mother of his son on Instagram.
And we all know that is never a good sign when it comes to celebrity relationships.
Fans went crazy online with one penning, “hopefully this was a mistake because they just had a child.” While another one highlighting the Instagram fiasco was insanely convincing, “Seriously. I was shrugging the speculation off, but this…”
One of the main reasons why the news blew up and speculations were blown out of proportion is the fact that Justin had previously unfollowed his father-in-law, Stephen Baldwin.

Another added, “That’s gotta be an accident, right? No way that’s how they announce a divorce I’m sure the Justin/Selena shippers are having the time of their lives though.”

A day after the news took social media by storm Justin came online to quite all the noise.
The ‘Monster’ crooner assured fans that he and Hailey were still together claiming that someone with access to his social media account had unfollowed Hailey with Bieber’s knowledge.
The new dad took to his Insta stories to share a couple of photos of with one of them being of him and his wife enjoying a chill music session followed by an update that read, “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. Stuff is getting suss out here,” before weirdly enough deleting that story post from his page.
His update however didn’t seem to do much for the bigger percentage of netizens as they claimed to have seen his tactics before. And also, the sheer fact that he’s been active on Instagram all through from last week sharing posts and reveling in an unfollowing spree as he removed Usher, his former manager Scooter Braun and best man Ryan Good from his Instagram page.

“Are we really still playing the ‘I got hacked’ game? Like you’re telling me someone hacked his account and all they did was unfollow his wife?”

Others questioned the timing suggesting that perhaps it was a PR stunt as the Canadian was set to drop new music soon. Another argued, “He’s been posting constantly the whole week and unfollowing people, and this just happens to be someone else?”

While another reminded folk that Justin has used this strategy in the past to generate buzz around himself for a music video. “Remember when he said someone stole his laptop and it was a PR stunt for a music video lol,” the X user wrote.

Do you think the unfollow stunt was truly someone going through Bieber’s phone or is there really trouble in the Hollywood camp?
