Dorcas Rigathi, the wife of Former DP Rigathi Gachagua attended a prayer meeting this past weekend January 17, where she as forced to abandon the event in Nyeri after politician Maina Njenga stormed the venue.
The meeting was being held at the Kamkunji Stadium where Njengas convoy arrived at the venue, with scores of youth and a convoy of vehicles accompanying him.
The moment has gone viral in a video online as Kenyans weight in on the matter.
As he addressed the residents, Maina Njenga asked Mt Kenya residents not to be obsessed with their region.
“Let us not be people who speak about Mt Kenya all the time. There are other parts of the country. We need to go to other areas for prayers,” he said.
He called on leaders to enhance the spirit of nationalism and inclusion that will help Kenya move forward.
