“Corazon’s Good Deed Triggers Online Backlash”

Brand influencer, fitness enthusiast and budding law practitioner Corazon Kwamboka has invoked the wrath of netizens, with keyboard warriors tearing her apart following a random act of kindness gone wrong.

The mother of 2, as part of her New Year is decluttering her wardrobe and changing her style among a few other things.

Owing to this fact she decided to do a giveaway of some of her items… her gym clothes to be exact. But this small act seems to have rubbed netizens off the wrong way as most voiced donating gym clothes one has been exercising irrespective of how long was just tacky and cringe.

Fitness and gym enthusiast Corazon Kwamboka
Corazon made the announcement via her Instagram page where she gave her followers (who fit her body type preferably) details of how they could access her old gym apparels and have the opportunity to work out stylishly like she always does.

“So, here’s how l’ll giveaway the gym clothes, I’ll drop them my store, set a date and be there so people can pick whatever they like,” the mother of 2 wrote in part.

Miss Kwamboka went on to add that on top of the gym clothes

, she would also be donating toddler items as soon as she was done sorting and reorganizing her home.
Calling upon those who wished to declutter items from their homes to get in touch with her so that they could all do one big donation or something even better depending on the number of items available.

The last of her post read, “I have to do more cleanup and add to the ones I did yesterday to also include baby items and clothes I don’t use anymore, if you have any other stuff you’d like to donate. Please hit me up so we can do something grand.”

Netizens were however quick to attack the lawyer arguing it didn’t quit sit right with them for one to donate gym clothes likening the act to donating one’s inner wears.
Which is ironical considering a huge number of Kenyans shop from the secondhand clothes departments and streets for these items and used clothes in general.

Reacting to a social media post of the story a section of netizens voiced their furry as others mocked Corazon for her simple act of kindness.
Below are a few of the publishable comments from said social media users:

_mwangi_era: Oh no cringe

s1vestr922: Surely? Gym clothes wueh enyewe Kenyan socialites joo

hey.vivienne: Nani atatoshea ata

k.k_6798: my guy iko na flavors karibu zote

Do you think it’s wrong for one to donate their used workout clothes? And what sets them apart from everyday wears if they’re all washed after used?
