MKU Graduate Seeks KSh 19,300 to Clear High School Fees: “Nahitaji KCSE Certificate”

A recent graduate of Mount Kenya University (MKU) is seeking financial support from well-wishers to pay her high school fees. MKU Graduate Sharon Bundi appeals for help to raise high school fee arrears. Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Sharon Bundi explained that she needed KSh 19,300 to pay the fee arrears to get her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificate. Bundi stated that the certificate is mandatory to get a Teachers Service Commission (TSC) number.

“The fee arrears is KSh 19,300, and I can only get my KCSE certificate after I have paid it in full. I wanted to apply for a TSC number, but I cannot get one until I avail my certificate,” she stated. Where did the MKU graduate sit for her KCSE exams? The young lady from Meru noted that she finished her high school education at Chogoria Girls High School. She added that she plans to get a job and enrol for a master’s degree. As such, the promising young graduate appealed to Kenyans of goodwill to raise funds to help her build her career.

“I still want to pursue a master’s degree and further my education, but I would like to get a job first to help fund all that. If I get a scholarship or a well-wisher to support me, I would really appreciate it,” she noted. When was MKU’s 2024 graduation? Sharon Bundi graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education, maths and business combination from MKU.

She acquired a second-class honours upper division during a ceremony held on August 2, 2024, at the Happy Valley grounds in Thika. To support or send contributions to the graduate, well-wishers can reach her through her mobile number 0797432823 (Sharon Bundi).
