Bomet Security Guard Looks after College Student’s Baby During Exams, Warms Hearts

 

A kind-hearted security guard has caught the attention of Kenyans and social media users with her selfless gesture. Bomet security guard Sheila Cheptoo happily watched over a student’s infant during exams (l). We salute Sheila, Nursing Council of Kenya The tender-hearted security guard from Bomet county, identified as Sheila Cheptoo, came to the rescue of an overwhelmed mother. The mum sitting for a licensing exam at Tenwek exam centre in Bomet faced a challenge as she had an infant whom she was babysitting.  “We want to salute Sheila Cheptoo, a security officer at the Tenwek School of Health Sciences, for taking care of an infant as the mother did the Nursing Council of Kenya licensing examination at the Tenwek exam centre,” read the caption of the heartwarming post. Security guard from Bomet delighted to babysit A touching picture of Cheptoo accompanied the post, carrying and holding the woman’s beautiful baby. She looked delighted to take on the babysitting duties to enable the student-mum to write her examinations comfortably. She supported the baby’s head, wrapped in a white shoal, with one hand as she walked with the baby. Social media reactions Social media users praised her for her help as they flocked to the moment section to react to the viral post. Rono Kiprotich: “Now, the world should learn from this officer. As a security guard, how would you respond to the mother for not having the babysitter at that moment if it was you? This is a moral lesson to the world. Congratulations, madam Sheila, and God bless the work of your hands.”  Queen Fay: “This is the second time. The last time I took my license exam, she did the same to my colleague. In another instance, she assisted another student who had lost her phone on rehearsal day by allowing her to use her phone.”
