Fire fighters are trying to put out an inferno at Leopard Beach Hotel in Diani, Kwale County.
Msambweni OCPD Joseph Chebusit said no injuries have been reported.
Mr Chebusit added that they suspect the fire, which started at around 9.30pm in a makuti-thatched cottage, was caused by fireworks.
