| Kenya power to run network maintainance |
Kenya Power has announced that eight counties will experience power interruptions on Tuesday, with disruptions occurring at various times between 8 am and 5 pm to facilitate network maintenance.
The affected counties are Kiambu, Nyeri, Murang’a, Uasin Gishu, Busia, Kisii, Homa Bay, and Kitui.
Area: Kiambu
Time: 8 am to 5 pm.
Affected areas: Bada Homes, Mahiga Homes, Kimunyu Secondary School, Gate Way Place, Babylon Hotel, Karunguru East, Riverside East, Gathigia Village, Croton East, and Muthaite East. Additional areas affected are Marram East, Brookeview East, Crops East, Morris Wagacha Farmsurey Farm, Iganjo Farm, Presidential Escort Camp Kays Est, Daykio East, Ruera East, Nando East, and Theta Country Farm. Furthermore, Nduuri Market, KCC Runyenjes, Runyenjes Town, Moi Mbiruri High School, Kagaari Market, Kangunu C/Fact, Kangondu, Gichehe, Gichera, and Spring Valley.
Area: Nyeri
Time: 9 am to 5 pm
Affected areas: Tetu, Nyewasco Kamakwa, Kamuyu, Kagunduini, Muthuani, Githakwa, Kwa Joma, Kiandere, and Kiamwathi from 9 am to 5 pm. Customers in Kagwathi, Tetu Technical, Githakwa Sec, Classic, Ciaraini, Gitathini, XT Xaviour Academy, Kiriti Sec, and Upper Gachuiro.
Area: Murang’a
Time: 8 am to 9 pm.
Affected areas: Gatitu, Gathuri, Karugia, Majuu, Gaichanjiru, Kagunduini, Gakira, Kariua, Githima, Kandiri, Kahariro, Turuturu, Kariaini, Nguku, Mathareini, Kenyoho, Githunguri, and Kabati.
Area: Uasin Gishu
Time: 9 am to 4 pm
Affected areas: Moi University Main Campus, Talai East, Moi Primary, Chebaiywo, Tulop Village, and adjacent customers.
Areas: Busia
Time: 9 am to 5 pm
Affected areas: Lwero Village, Amerikwai, Mapenzi Road, Limara, Aget, Emuria FM, Angorom, Alupe Market, Alupe Hospital, KEMRI, KEFRI, Alupe University, Amongura, Adungosi Police, and Asing’ee. Other affected areas are Machakusi, Amukura, Malaba Town, KRA OSBP, Cereal, Amagoro, KPLC Offices, Shell, Kakapel, Awatta, Kamuriai, Angurai, Kolanya, Kaeset, Kajei, Akudiet, Ikapolok, Jairo’s, Osere City, Kakalet, and Akichelesit.

Time: 7:20 am to 1:20 pm
