Women’s Day celebrations at Coast disrupted as supporters of rival politicians clash

 

International Women’s Day celebration in Mombasa was disrupted on Tuesday, as supporters of rival politicians clashed.

The celebrations were ongoing at the Tononoka Grounds when supporters of Suleiman Shahbal and Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir clashed.

The two have been facing off at various events as they seek to succeed Governor Hassan Joho.

They are both seeking the ODM ticket.   BY THE STAR
