Okiya Omtatah set to win Busia senatorial race

 

Rights activist Okiya Omtatah is currently leading in the Busia senatorial race with 19,817 votes, followed by Hillary Itela who has garnered 12,166 votes. 

The ardent rights activist vied under the  the National Reconstruction Alliance (NRA) party. 

In the Woman Representative contest, Catherine Omanyo has 20,829 votes followed by Susan Mang’eni (10,827), Apopo Elizabeth (3,084) and Mary Makokha (1,802).    BY DAILY NATION
