A resurfaced podcast episode has thrown new light on the personal life of the late Arbantone artist Stoopid Boy. The “G Bag Na Jug” hitmaker tragically passed away on Thursday, 27 August 2026. This sudden loss occurred just two months after the death of his older brother, Yan.
The candid discussion took place on the podcast show “Too Personal with 2mbili”. In the video, the artist opened up about his past relationships and his approach to parenting.
Relationships Dating Back to 2015
During the interview, host 2mbili asked the artist about his relationship history. Stoopid Boy revealed that he had not been in a romantic partnership for over a decade.
When asked when he was last in a relationship, Stoopid Boy stated:
“The last time I was in a relationship, I think was 2015.”
The rapper explained that he has multiple children. He noted that his youngest child is heading towards six years of age. Another of his children was born in 2015 and is now nearly nine years old.

Stoopid Boy explained that heonlymaintainsa relationshipwith the children he sees.He specifically named his firstborn, Brand, alongside two others.
Stoopid Boy remarked:
“Mimi si eti nabagua Watoto lakini mtoto mwenye najua ni yule ninaona kwa macho yangu. Wenye madem wamehepa nao mimi huwa siwahesabu juu I don’t take responsibility.”
Explaining Parental Responsibility
The late musician was highly transparent about why he did not support all of his children. He explained that he does not take responsibility for children who live away from him with their mothers.
The artist added that he does not speak about these children. He explained that once a mother moves on with a child, he considers the matter closed.
“That’s why hata mimi siwezi ongelea mtoto mwenye sioni kwa macho yangu, yaani alienda na mamake aka move on,” he explained.
The artist clarified that his stance was not due to a lack of love. Instead, he blamed his decisions on personal life challenges.
Coping With Loss and Hardships
The interview also touched on the deep personal losses that affected the late artist. Stoopid Boy discussed the sudden death of his older brother, Yan.

According to the artist, his brother overdosed on medication due to life and relationship pressures. This loss had left Stoopid Boy as the eldest child in his family.
Stoopid Boy also discussed his struggles with rehabilitation and relapse. He stated that rehabilitation is a personal decision rather than an external programme. He claimed that real change must come from within an individual.
The late rapper had been trying to rebuild his career by releasing new music and selling custom T-shirts. Despite these efforts, personal struggles continued to follow him until his tragic demise in August 2026.
