Why World Cup 2026 will change balls The Trionda Final retains the same core construction and technology as its predecessor but features updated visual design elements intended to reflect the significance of the competition’s concluding matches. Besides the colours, it will celebrate the final four host cities and every other city where the tournament has been held.

Adidas has positioned the change as a deliberate way of marking the transition into the final chapter of the tournament. This will be the first time FIFA has used a new ball specifically for its latter stages in a competition. Which Matches Will Use the New Ball?
