Media personality Rapcha The Scientist has chided activist Morara Kebaso for constantly asking Kenyans for financial contributions. Rapcha The Scientist called out political activist Morara Kebaso for asking Kenyans to fund him. What Rapcha The Scientist thinks of Morara’s funding model 

The Chizzi Podcast host’s remarks come days after the Inject Party leader pleaded with Kenyans again to help him fix his KSh 150,000 car brakes. Kebaso revealed he had been operating the vehicle using handbrakes, sharing the dangers and challenges of driving under such conditions. . Rapcha said: “If Morara was the president, we may be in so much debt, including South Sudan’s.

 His borrowing is not normal. He looks like he would tell his wife he would go ask the neighbour if she fails to …with him.”  Does Morara have systems in place? In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, Rapcha maintained that his opinion stemmed from the American Democratic Party’s financing model for political campaigns. 

“Funds are controlled by a properly set up secretariat. Candidates don’t even touch or know about the funds. It’s professionally collected and managed by a group of trustees within the party, and party members can monitor how their contributions are utilised. With Morara, it is totally different.

 An individual wakes up and decides we give him money without any systems set up for political campaigns; basically, it’s just donating to an individual,” he claimed. Here are some of the reactions from social media users: @Akinyi19Abongo said: “Revolution is not cheap, is his slogan.”
