Former Merishaw School principal, operator to be arraigned over exam malpractice

Former Merishaw School principal and an operator at the school’s G-Max Hall are set to be arraigned at the Milimani Court today over exam malpractice. 

David Gideon Kariuki and operator Alex Kasaine Kataiyo are said to have been involved in malpractice on November 3, 2025 and were arrested after the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) approved the charges.

They were apprehended in Embu/Kibiko, Ngong, and Isinya, respectively.

Meanwhile, a manhunt is on for two suspected accomplices who are still at large.
