Popular Kenyan content creator Mjaka Mfine has opened up about her past struggles with weight, revealing that she once weighed 94 kilogrammes while in high school.

Speaking during a recent interview, the digital personality said her transformation happened naturally, without structured fitness routines or gym sessions.
“Mimi nikiwa high school nilikuwa mnono sana, nilikuwa 94kgs. Sijui nililoose weight aje ju sijawai enda gym,” she said.

Mjaka, whose real name is Mitchelle Joyce Akoth Oruko, has steadily grown her presence online, rising from humble beginnings in Nairobi estates such as Umoja and Saika to become a recognised digital creator.
