In a communiqué, Maraga said the tour will begin on September 17 to October 5, during which he plans to visit several states and meet his supporters as he expresses his agenda.
“I am excited to begin my US tour from 17th September to 5th October 2026, visiting Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Minnesota, Georgia, Houston, and Dallas,” he said.
The United Green Movement (UGM) presidential flag bearer is also set to engage with international leaders on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
The presidential hopeful has also acknowledged the diaspora’s contribution as an important partner in Kenya’s development and democratic future, saying it cannot be ignored in national growth talks.
“Our Constitution recognizes the Diaspora as full partners in Kenya’s future, not just a source of remittances.” He said.
The US tour follows his nationwide Ukatiba Caravan, which took him to 43 counties between February and April this year, where he engaged Kenyans and supporters.
Maraga had formally declared his intention to seek the presidency earlier this year, saying he had agreed to run after consultations with Kenyans and the Gen Z group.
