“Their shared journey from the same home to the same altar is a powerful witness that God’s love continues to raise faithful labourers for His harvest,” one parish member remarked during the celebrations. Messages of congratulations poured in from clergy, parishioners and well-wishers, who offered prayers for the newly ordained priests as they begin their ministry. Many expressed hope that their story would inspire young people discerning religious vocations and encourage families to support children who feel called to serve the church. As the siblings embark on their priestly mission, the faithful have pledged to keep them in prayer, asking God to guide them with wisdom, humility and strength. Their double ordination is a rare and remarkable milestone not only for their family but also for the Catholic Diocese of Kitui, highlighting the enduring power of faith, family and vocation. For one proud family in Kitui, the celebration is about more than an achievement. It is the fulfilment of a calling, the answer to years of prayer, and the beginning of a new chapter as two brothers step forward together to serve Christ and His church.
