Nakuru: Man found dead along Keringet–Molo road

Residents of Kimalany Village were left in shock after the body of a 24-year-old man was discovered along the Keringet–Molo road.

The deceased had sustained a deep cut to the lower abdomen.

Speaking at the scene alongside village elder Isaac Torongei, the victim’s father, Julius Cheruiyot, said his eldest son received information that a person resembling his brother was lying by the roadside.

“When we arrived at the scene, we found that it was my son. He was already dead,” Cheruiyot said.

The family immediately alerted police, who moved the body to the Olenguruone Hospital mortuary.

Police have launched investigations into the incident, with the motive behind the killing yet to be established.
