Deputy President Kithure Kindiki arrived in Kwale County on Saturday morning for an official tour.

The tour is focused on inspecting ongoing government projects and mobilising resources to support small-scale traders.

He was received by several coastal leaders led by Youth Affairs Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya, alongside other security officials.

The visit will see the Deputy President tour key development initiatives in Lunga Lunga Constituency, where he is expected to assess progress and engage local leaders on implementation challenges.

His itinerary also includes meetings with traders and community stakeholders as part of the government’s broader agenda to strengthen grassroots economic empowerment and accelerate service delivery at the county level.
